Your trailblazers leading the way are: Deirdre Pifer- Deirdre's connection with Fleet Feet began in 2014 when she joined No Boundaries as a participant and mentor. A past MIT member, she has completed distances from 5k to 50k. Her love of trail running and hiking has taken her focus to the forest. In 2022 Deirdre and the Trailblazers founded the hike club. Mary Ziejewski- Mary joined the Fleet Feet crew in 2014, participating in the No Boundaries program. Since then she has been a member of MIT, training with and cheering on others preparing for their road and trail race goals. More than medals, Mary cherishes the friends she has made in the running and hiking community. Lynne Johansson- Lynne has been involved with Fleet Feet since 2013 as a participant, volunteer pacer and MIT coach. She enjoys long distances and has completed 50k’s and a 50 miler. She is enjoying the time spent in the woods and looks forward to lots of trail miles to come. Marcy Ross- Marcy joined the hike club in 2022 and has been a member ever since! She is a true trailblazer, leading the speedsters as they power along the trails. We are so happy to have her join our little group of hike club volunteers starting with Winter 2025. Peggy Dunn- Peggy joined MIT in 2018 and has since completed multiple half marathons, a full and a 50k ultra, while discovering the wonderful community that is running. An avid hiker, Peggy loves visiting National Parks and is looking forward to the next session of the hiking club. Donna Poland- Donna began with MIT in June of 2014 to prepare for her second marathon. She became a pace coach in 2017. She has done many road and trail races from a 5k to a 50 miler. Donna loves the trails in Ohio, being surrounded by nature and traveling to different states and trails. Julia Meeker- Julia joined the Blazers in Winter of 2024.
