Gary lived by the motto, “Have faith like a child,” and he truly embodied that in the way he lived—loving deeply, trusting fully, and finding joy in the simple things. He loved hiking the outdoors, playing volleyball, enjoying a good ice cream, and most of all, sharing his love for Jesus with others. This race is more than just a run—it’s a celebration of Gary’s life and the legacy he leaves behind. Whether you’re running, walking, or cheering others on, you’re helping carry forward the faith, joy, and compassion Gary shared with so many.
