Short distance multi-sport racing is back on the Seneca Lake waterfront in Geneva, NY. A first in the Northeast, the Geneva Mixed Team Relay (MTR) triathlon. Introduced at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic games, the MTR format is ultra face-paced, spectator-friendly, and loads of fun for triathletes of every ability. Mixed Team Relay Triathlon - Basic Info Team Size: 4 evenly mixed-gender athletes (2 Male, 2 Female) Distance: Swim 300m (330 yrds), Bike 3.0 mile (4.8km), Run 0.6 mile (1km) Race Format: In this order (F-M-F-M), one athlete must complete the full triathlon before tagging the next teammate in the designated relay zone until all four have completed the race and the 4th person crosses the line. Timing: Total team time is used to determine performance awards Awards: Overall Top 3 Teams, Age Groups by 40 year total bands Age Groups: Calculated by total age of the team (Age as of 12/31) Important FYIs / Notes You may register as an individual to be paired with 3 others to form a 4-person
