Each season comes to an end with a celebratory 5K. This closing event gives program participants of all abilities a tangible sense of accomplishment. Crossing the finish line instills confidence through completion and is a joyful moment program participants always remember! Everyone who participates in our 5K receives a commemorative medal to celebrate this incredible achievement. What's a 5K Buddy? 5K Buddy Registration will open on April 13 Every Girls on the Run participant at the 5K must run or walk alongside their chosen 5K Buddy. A 5K Buddy is someone 16+ who is responsible for encouraging, motivating, and keeping them safe on the 5K course and throughout the day. Each GOTR participant should be paired with one 5K Buddy.
