Hosted by the Cowlitz Valley Runners, in partnership with HEVIN and sponsored by the Monticello Coffee House and Lounge, the Child & Adolescent Clinic, Red Leaf Organic Coffee, Cortex Marketing, and Norpac, this is a fun event for the whole family. Hundreds of fans (lined up to watch the Go 4th Parade that will follow the race) will cheer the runners and walkers on this fast, flat, scenic course. The focus is on family fun, so the entry fee is minimal. In keeping with the community, non-profit volunteer philosophy of the Go 4th Festival, the Cowlitz Valley Runners will apply proceeds to scholarships for high school seniors pursuing higher education. Awards: Medals will be awarded to the top male and female finishers. Ribbons will be awarded to the the second and third place male and female finishers, and to the first male and female finishers over 50 . Plus, we have several random door prizes!!
