Goodyear Education 5K – Danville, VA 2026

The Goodyear Education 5K returns for its 19th year — and this time, we’re taking off from an exciting new location: the Danville Regional Airport! Participants will kick off the race on the terminal ramp alongside the airplane hangars, enjoying a unique runway-side experience with stunning views of the airport and Averett University aircraft on display. From there, runners and walkers will head out to Stinson Drive before circling back to the airport for a high-energy finish right where they started. After crossing the finish line, stick around for awards, photo opportunities with the planes, and post-race refreshments. Heads Up! Registration will be capped at 150 participants.
