The GRC Summer 5k Series is a 9-week series through June and July. Runners will meet at Back Forty Beer Company in Gadsden, AL on Thursdays at 6pm from June 4th - July 30th. Runners will enjoy a nice 5k route through downtown Gadsden and the historic district. The course will be marked with bright colored duct tape on the road. The course is NOT closed - please be aware of your surroundings. *There will be NO charge for the series!!* There is an option to purchase a series shirt or a ladies tank top, and they will both come in sweat-wicking material. The deadline to order a shirt is May 22(no extra shirts will be ordered). As soon as we receive the shirts we will have them ready on the Thursday we of the week we receive them. The series is open to all ages and paces - come join us for a run or a walk! You don't need to be a GRC member to enjoy these runs.
