Join us for the 2026 Hammond Firefighters memorial 9-11 5K & 1-mile fun run. This year's event will be FUN FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY! SO, COME OUT AND SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL FIRE FIGHTERS OF HAMMOND LOUISIANA! Proceeds of the race stay in the community and help fund local nonprofit programs that our local Fire Fighters care deeply about. Our guys are always out there helping and saving lives, so let us get out and support them. Race Location: Starts and finishes at Cate Square Park in beautiful Downtown Hammond. Course: Flat scenic course starting at Cate Square Park to Southeastern Louisiana University. We will run around Southeastern's campus and finish back at Cate Square Park. Pre-Race packet pick-up will be Thursday, September 17th at Perfectly Fit, from 10am-6pm & Friday, September 18, at Perfectly Fit, from 10am-3pm. Race day packet pick-up will be 7am-7:45am for 1 mile & 7am-8:15 for 5K. Awards Finisher medals for all runners. This year will be a TIMED EVENT!! 5K Awards for TOP 3 OVERA
