Hamtramck Health Hike – 5K – Hamtramck, MI 2026

Join the Hamtramck Drug Free Community Coalition (HDFCC), a program of the Piast Institute, for its 17th Annual Hamtramck Health Hike . This FREE 5K run/walk taking place on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m . Starting and ending at Zussman Park in front of Hamtramck City Hall (3401 Evaline St.), this community event welcomes participants of all ages and fitness levels. However you choose to do the 5K (a run, jog, or walk), the Hamtramck Health Hike offers a fun, family-friendly way to get active and explore the city streets of Hamtramck. The 5K will be officially timed, and participants will be able to look up their bib number online to see their race results and compare times within their age group.
