July 27th - July 30th THE CAMP IS TAUGHT BY HANSONS RUNNING SHOP STAFF, CONSISTING OF CURRENT AND FORMER COLLEGIATE DISTANCE RUNNERS TIME: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM WHERE: Stoney Creek Metropark at the Oak Grove Pavillion WHAT: A LOW INTENSITY INSTRUCTIONAL CAMP DESIGNED TO TEACH TRAINING PRINCIPALS, RUNNING MINDSET AND RACE STRATEGIES. ALTHOUGH PACE IS UNIMPORTANT, BEGINNING RUNNERS SHOULD BE ABLE TO RUN 2 MILES TO ATTEND CAMP. GROUPS WILL BE SEPARATED BY ABILITY AND FITNESS LEVEL. FOUR DAY MILEAGE WILL VARY FROM 8 TO 15 MILES. RUNNING RELATED GAMES WILL BE PLAYED, AND A RELAY RACE WILL TAKE PLACE ON THE LAST DAY OF CAMP. FEE: CAMP INCLUDES: INSTRUCTION, T-SHIRT, CAMP AWARDS, DAILY REFRESHMENTS, AND A 20% OFF COUPON FOR ANY OF THE 4 STORES. FEE $70.00. MAY REGISTER IN PERSON AT THE CAMP FOR $80.00. A METROPARKS PASS WILL BE REQUIRED FOR ENTRY INTO THE PARK. ENTRY IS $10 PER DAY OR $40 FOR THE YEAR. PASSES CAN BE PURCHASED UPON ENTRY INTO THE PARK. REGISTER IN PERSON AT ANY ONE OF THE 4 STORE
