Heart & Sole 5K – Mitchell, SD 2026

Please join us for the Mitchell Heart & Sole 5K run/walk! The 2026 theme is Retro Run! We encourage runners to dress up in their best 70’s or early 80s workout gear, maybe channel your Richard Simmons or best jazzercise outfit! Proceeds from the race will go toward financial assistance for patients in the Mitchell and the surrounding communities who are currently undergoing cancer treatment. All our funds stay local! The run/walk will take place on May 2nd, 2026. Race day registration will begin at 7:30 am at the entrance of the DWU/Avera Sports & Wellness Complex on Norway St. Official race time starts at 8:00 am. The run will start and end on Norway street across from the DWU/Avera Sports & Wellness Complex (near the DWU/LB Williams campus entrance).
