The Hero Hustle was created in 2016 as a way to raise money to help support the men and women of the Delaware County fire, ambulance, and law enforcement departments. To date, through the participation of our athletes and the generous contributions of our sponsors, the Hero Hustle has been able to give over $77,000 to the people that are always there to save, serve and protect us. The Hero Hustle welcomes all athletes of all abilities. The goal is to get active, have a good time, and raise money for a good cause! The race is a sprint distance triathlon comprised of a 400yd swim, a 16 mile bike ride, and a 5K run to wrap it up. The swim course will be held in Schram Pond. The bike course is out on a public highway and has rolling hills for most of the course. The run course will be mostly flat, with athletes only having to tackle one hill...at least you get to turn around and run back down it though!
