This annual race is in memory of our dear friend Dave McDonald. Dave loved to run, he loved the Heron, and he loved music. REGISTRATION IS FREE! Please consider donating as all proceeds will benefit Centaur Stride Therapeutic Riding Facility , in Sherman, NY. This well-marked route is both challenging and fun, and will satisfy new and experienced runners and walkers of all ages. ️ Race Day: Sunday, August 16, 2026 The main event! Our 5K trail race is open to all ages and abilities and is FREE to register and participate! Run or walk our scenic trail course Live music from 11am-3pm Breakfast & lunch available for purchase Kids-games and family-friendly fun for everyone! Music from 11AM-3PM Live performances by: TBD! Event t-shirts available for purchase while supplies last. Online registration open through Friday, August 14 at 6:59 PM Want more fun? We are honoring Dave all weekend with live-music and community connection! Come out on Saturday and camp out overnight! SATURDAY
