Hillbilly Half Race Series – Run for the Kids 5K/10K/Half Marathon – Pikeville, KY 2026

HOWDY Friends! This year our Hillbilly Family has a special announcement..they are expecting a bouncing baby boy (medal) due on April 19th, 2026! Ya'll can get your very own limited edition Hillbilly boy medal by running the a 5K, 10K, or the HALF MARATHON! This will be the 3rd half marathon for the HBDRun and we are so excited! So, pick your distance and join us in beautiful downtown Pikeville at the Pikeville City Park, while you enjoy Kentucky's 2nd largest festival, Hillbilly Days. The first half of the half (the 10K portion) will all be on pavement/sidewalks and in the downtown area of Pikeville. Those who elect to do the half marathon will get to enjoy some "off-roading" and become a true "Hillbilly", because part of this route will take you through one of our beautiful trails. There will be challenging inclines, but there is no "hiking" type of terrain. The entire hill route is a wide path and is either paved, or gravel.
