Join us for a jolly good time at the Holiday Hustle 5K! This festive fun run is perfect for families, friends, and anyone looking for a holiday-themed adventure. Dress up in your favorite holiday attire and enjoy a scenic course filled with festive cheer. After the 5k we will have a 1 mile fun run which is perfect for your little elves or anyone else who wants to run! There will even be an appearance by the jolly man in red! Stick around after for some hot chocolate and cookies. *New for 2025 we will have an 8k option. The 8k race will be the 5k course with about 1.7miles extra on dirt/gravel/grass trails. Swag/Post Race Activities Everyone receives a custom mug Finisher medals that double as tree ornaments Free Race photos Prizes for best holiday themed outfit *Race check in begins at 8 am race morning ** We have decided to add a Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cake Mile after the awards. Rules...eat a Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cake and run a quarter mile. Repeat this process after every quarter mile until you have run a mile. Fastest one to finish wins!! This is a free event. Awards: Top 3 male and female overall Age group awards (under 15, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49,50-59,60-69, 70+) The race is on paved trails in and around the park. Race is presented by Even Kiel Racing. Charity Partner We will be collecting warm weather items such as hats, gloves and coats to donate to Code Blue Cumberland County. Please also consider making a donation. The Cumberland County Code Blue program began in Bridgeton, NJ by Bridgeton Mayor Albert Kelly, Dr. Rob Weinstein, Rev. Ellen Rutherford, and Captains James and Maria Stephenson was created to provide "Warming Centers" as a way for homeless persons in the community to find shelter from frigid overnight temperatures during the cold winter months. A "Code Blue" is initiated when temperatures are 32 degrees with precipitation or 25 degrees without precipitation. Warming Centers are housed by host churches on a rotating basis from 6 PM to 6 AM.
