Horning Farms is hosting our 6th Annual 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run! Join us for a uniquely scenic race course in the countryside. Founded in 1877, Horning Farms overlooks beautiful Pleasant Lake in Manchester, MI. With the 5th and 6th generations managing our 400 cow dairy farm, we're excited to give running an agriculture-related twist! 9:00 am - The 1 Mile Fun Run will go by our cow food storage areas and right past our baby calves and younger animals. A mix of concrete and dirt driveway makes this course stroller-friendly and perfect for families! 9:30 am - The 5k will show off what farming is all about. This "trail" run features a loop around and through our crop fields before finishing in the heart of our farm. Following the races, re-hydrate and re-fuel with water and deliciously nutritious chocolate milk! Race-themed medals will be given to all participants.
