Join us for our annual 5K on June 27, 2026 as part of Wings Over Wausau and Wausau's BIG Weekend! The entire 5K route is run on the taxiways and runways of the historic Wausau Downtown Airport. This is your opportunity to run on a runway alongside a variety of vintage and contemporary static display aircraft! Come be cheered on by the aircraft pilots and owners! Run side by side with members of the various branches of the US Armed Forces and compete against the best of the best! After the race, join the Wausau Noon Kiwanis Club for their traditional Pancake Breakfast during the 5K awards ceremony. Pancake Breakfast is FREE with race registration! After the event awards ceremony, stay for the swearing in ceremony for new military recruits! Wausau Events has partnered with Incredible Bank to benefit the Never Forgotten Honor Flight, raising funds to send multiple veterans on the "Trip of a lifetime" to Washington D.C.!
