Independence Day Festival – Hazleton, PA 2026

The Start & Finish will be at the Louis Schiavo City View Park, in Hazleton. The course will consist of an out and back , connecting the Aurther Gardner Hwy to the Hazleton Rails to Trails The official Gun Start will be at 8:30 a.m. for the 5K & 10K Races. Gun time will be used for overall awards / Chip time will be used for age group awards. Awards & Age Groups Top Overall M/F in both the 5K&10K First Place M/F in the following Age Groups: 19&U, 20-39, 40-59, 60+ Virtual Race Option Want to support our cause, but not able to show up on race day?? We have a virtual option for all distances. Race on your own course, on your own time between Friday July 3rd, and Sunday July 5th. Submit your time electronically and you will be scored in a special division. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to support the local Autism Community, Youth Sports, Cancer Research and Disabled Veterans.
