We are proud to be part of the Suffolk County Veterans Run Series Jordan's Run Veterans' Memorial 5K Run/Walk is a USATF-Certified 5K Run This beautiful, scenic course winds through historic Sag Harbor Village, taking you past Pierson High School, where Jordan graduated, past the harbor and windmill, and a loop over and back on the NYS Lance Cpl. Veterans' Memorial Bridge, which was named in his honor. You'll pass a marina near the 2nd water stop, where he held a summer job, and see Oakland Cemetery, where our hero rests. Jordan Haerter grew up in the small village of Sag Harbor, NY, and graduated from Pierson High School in 2006. He went to Parris Island for the 12-week boot camp as a recruit in September 2006 and became a proud United States Marine on December 1st, 2006.
