Lake City Memorial Day 5k & 1 Mile Road Race – Lake City, MI 2026

Join us on Monday, May 25, 2026 for the third year of the Lake City Memorial Day 5k & 1 Mile Road Race. The run is hosted by the Lake City High School and Middle School cross country teams, and it will be timed by Rotpac Racing . All participants will receive a finisher medal. Additional awards: The first female and male finishers in the mile race will each receive a winner's medal. The first female and male finishers in the 5k race will each receive a gift card to the running store Fleet Feet in Traverse City and other locations. The top three female and top three male finishers in each age will receive age-group medals. Age groups for the 5k run include: 13 years and under 14 - 19 years 20 - 29 years 30 - 39 years 40 - 49 years 50 - 59 years 60 - 69 years 70 years and up All proceeds will go to the Lake City High School and Middle School cross country program.
