Lake Como is celebrating its 102st anniversary as its own municipality to honor its past and to look forward to its future. Lake Como, known as South Belmar for the majority of its history, officially changed its name in January of 2005 that marked a new chapter in the area's rich history. Proceeds to benefit Lake Como Youth Recreation Programs & Youth Facilities.
