THE END IS NEAR!!! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!! Well, the Running Season end is near anyway, not so sure about the apocalypse just yet. Lets celebrate an awesome 2026 running season with your favorite season ending event. Ghouls Just Wanna Have Fun!! The Lakefront Discovery Run features fun, with a 15k, a 5k, and a FREE Kids run !. Each distance can be run, walked, skipped, or hopped. There are age group awards as well as for overall winners. More importantly, there will be an award for ‘Best Costume ’ as voted on by the event volunteers (please don’t attempt to bribe the volunteers. Bribe the Race Director, because at the end of the day, it's their call). Those in Costume get FREE BEER!! Also should be noted, those NOT IN Costume get free beer too (but no ALL CAPS announcement for them, damnit). The run begins at Veteran's Park and provides a delightful tour of Milwaukee’s lakefront.
