Endure Together The Laps For Love Backyard Ultra is more than an endurance race. It is a community-centered event designed to bring runners together while creating meaningful, local impact. $100 from every race registration is donated directly to Family Promise of Greater Wichita, supporting families with children experiencing homelessness right here in our community. Race Format This event follows the traditional Backyard Ultra format. • The course is a 4.167-mile loop at Sedgwick County Park • A new loop starts every hour on the hour beginning at 9:00 AM CST • You must complete the loop within the hour to continue • Any remaining time is used to rest, refuel, restroom, and reset • Failure to start the next loop on time results in elimination • The last runner to complete a full loop alone is the winner There is no preset distance or time limit.
