Lawrence Public Schools – Bloom ‘N Zoom Fun Run – Lawrence, KS 2026

Join us for the first annual Lawrence Public Schools 2 Mile Walk/Run on April 18, 2026! For this first year, race participation is limited to USD497 employees only. We hope to expand the offerings in future years! The race will kick off at 9:00am near the Lawrence Sports Pavilion parking area (Rock Chalk Park). The course is a one-mile, out-and-back on sidewalks/paved areas connecting to and on the Lawrence Loop. This event is non-competitive (no chip times) and is to celebrate the health and well-being of USD497 staff. There will be fun prizes for staff teams, costumes, and more. After the event, stop by healthy lifestyle vendor booths and participate in prize giveaways. The event is free to register. Staff who register by April 1 will receive a free t-shirt - t-shirts will be available on a limited time basis for registrations received after April 1. *This event is closed to the general public.* This free event is to celebrate the health and wellbeing of Lawrence Public Schools staff
