Whether you just walked, ran once or ran your first 5K, 10K, Half Marathon or Marathon we are celebrating all the wins of the previous year. With 86% of our community being minorities and 99% of our group members identifying as minorities, we understand the challenges of limited access to affordable, healthy food options. Through running, we are combating obesity and promoting better decision-making and mental wellness. Our approach aims to shift the perception that running is exclusive to certain demographics. We organize inclusive runs through neighborhoods, showcasing the universality of wellness. Why settle for just 5K or 10K when you can aim for 5K+ and 10K+? We believe in going the extra mile because we refuse to settle for mediocrity. At LFA we embrace the 1% Better Mentality as a guiding principle in all aspects of our lives, recognizing that every small step forward contributes to monumental growth. With the spirit of athletes fueling our determination, we endeavor for continuous improvement in our running, fitness, personal, and professional endeavors. This is an unsanctioned, untimed race running on sidewalks and streets of Hyde Park and Mattapan, just like we have done every year for the past several years.
