Licking County Suicide Prevention Race – Newark, OH 2026

The Second Annual Licking County Suicide Prevention Coalition Awareness Race will return in 2026 as a powerful, community-driven event focused on connection, remembrance, and hope. Hosted by the Licking County Suicide Prevention Coalition, this race brings together families, survivors, first responders, educators, behavioral health providers, and community members who share one goal: saving lives. Participants can choose to walk or run, whether competitively or at their own pace. The event is designed to be welcoming to all ages and abilities. More than just a race, this gathering creates space to honor those we have lost to suicide, uplift those who are struggling, and stand alongside individuals and families impacted by mental health challenges.
