The Light up the Sky 5K Run/Walk will be returning this year for its 10th year! Join the fun on Sunday, May 24th. All net proceeds support the annual 4th of July fireworks held at the Presque Isle State Harbor. * There is a fun run for the kids at 9:00 a.m. and the 5K Run/Walk starts at 9:30 a.m. Both events start at the New Presque Isle Lighthouse Park . Registration fees for the 5k is $20 through April 30th and $25 thereafter. Registration fees for the kid fun run is $10. The first 150 finishers in the 5k will receive a medal and the first 50 finishers in the kid fun run will receive a medal. A limited supply of special design t-shirts will be available at a cost of $15 and you must register and purchase by April 30th to guarantee receiving a shirt. When they are gone they are gone. * Online registration is available through May 22, 2026 (the Friday before the race).
