Longest Dam Race – Fort Peck, MT 2026

Race Day Events: 10K Run ‍♂️ 5K Run 5K Walk 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk 10-Mile Novice Bike Ride The Course: Get ready for a one-of-a-kind race experience—where the views are vast, the elevation changes are real, and the finish line is full of fun! 10K Run – The race begins at the Fort Peck Dam Shaft Houses on Hwy 24 and stretches across the scenic top of the dam. Runners hit a 3.1-mile turnaround before descending approximately 350 feet down a gravel/dirt road, finishing strong on pavement at Kiwanis Park. 5K Run – This shorter but exciting route also begins atop the dam, skipping the turnaround. Participants head down the same gravel slope and transition onto pavement to reach Kiwanis Park. 5K Walk – Walkers follow the same 5K course as the runners—starting at the top of the dam, making their way down the gravel road, and ending at Kiwanis Park.
