The Lynn Woods Relay is a 5-mile trail running event held in Lynn, Massachusetts on August 26, 2026. The race starts at 6:00 PM at Lynn Woods Reservation, with the entrance accessed via Great Woods Road off Lynnfield Street (Route 129). Participants can reach the venue by taking the Route 129 exit off Route 128 or Route 1. This is a free event, making it an accessible option for runners looking to compete in a trail setting without entry fees. The evening start time offers an alternative to typical morning race schedules, which may appeal to athletes with different training routines or work commitments.

From the Race Organizer
The Lynn Woods Relay is a long-standing trail relay race with teams of 4 runners each completing the same 2.5-mile loop through Lynn Woods. The Club covers the $100 entry fee for WCRC teams, and we’ll have the team tent with food/refreshments at the ready before, during and after the race. We need everyone that wants to participate to get registered through the Run Sign-up link before August 18th so that we can put together teams, and get registered on time to make for a more organized race day experience. If you prefer certain team-mates, please mention that when registering or let me know and I’ll do my best to make it work. Race starts at 6:00pm but always best to arrive at 5:00pm to park, find the team tent and warm-up. You can learn more about the history of Lynn Woods (the 2nd largest municipal park in the US) and the race itself from the Lynn Woods website including results back to 1973!
