Join Fleet Feet Lincoln and coaches Eddie Walters and Bridger Kroos for Marathon Kids , an 8-week program to keep your kids active and running through the summer! The group will meet on Wednesday evenings at Phares Park, and throughout the program, kids will track their weekly mileage on a printable poster. The miles can be spent running, walking, skipping, jumping, or another fun activity that involves moving, and the goal of the program is to teach kids to love being active! At the final meetup, kids can tally up how many marathons they ran over the course of the summer. Fun Events Along the way, Coach Eddie will host some fun events all designed to grow kids' love of running! Kids will enjoy a Meet-a-Cop Night, Crazy Hat Night, and a few fun evenings that involve water to keep cool! Kona Ice will also pop into one of the meetups so kids can enjoy snow cones after they run.
