On April 3, 2027, the Medical Lake Lions Club will host its 49th Annual Only Fools Run at Midnight in Medical Lake, Washington. This unique 5K runs at 11:30 PM, offering runners an unconventional late-night racing experience. The event starts at 200 E. Barker and costs $15 to enter. If you can't make it to Medical Lake in person, a virtual participation option is available, allowing you to complete the 5K on your own time and location. This is an established community race with nearly five decades of history, making it a quirky addition to your race calendar if you're in the Pacific Northwest during early April.

From the Race Organizer
Welcome to the 49th Annual Only Fools Run at Midnight! We will continue to offer both live and virtual options this year. Our live event will take place on April 3rd with a start time of 11:30 pm. Runners will once again be able to run the mean streets of Medical Lake at midnight. We will start at Medical Lake High School and have race monitors throughout the course with our finish line at the Pizza Factory to celebrate our achievements. They will be open late just for the race. For virtual runners, you can run and post your times any time between April 3rd, 2027, and April 10, 2026. Our race sponsors this year include TNC Ramps, Farm Salvation, the Pizza Factory, and Johnson Homestead. Please be sure to check them out. We thank them for their support.
