Miles in the Maize takes place on November 7, 2026, at Colony Acres in North Liberty, Iowa. The race starts at 9:30 AM from the venue at 1150 South Front Street. Entry fees range from $10 to $55 depending on which distance you select and registration timing. Whether you're looking for a shorter warm-up effort or committing to a longer distance, this fall race accommodates various fitness levels and training goals.

Miles in the Maize is a unique running experience for people of all ages and abilities! With a 5k and Maize Mile, this event takes competitors through a unique off-road course weaving around a corn maze, pumpkin patch, and other beautiful fall Iowa scenery! The Maize Mile will kick off the festivities at 9:30am, and the 5K will follow at 10:00am! Costume Awards will be voted on and awarded, along with Maize Mile Awards at 9:50am - prior to the start of the 5K! There will be a brief post-race awards ceremony at the conclusion of the 5k for overall & age group winners. This year we are excited to announce our partnership with the Corridor/Eastern Iowa Let Me Run organization! Proceeds from the race will be directly donated back to this local program. These groups help foster community, fun, and fitness for boys in local elementary schools! If you’d like to register and pay by check, please contact Lindsey@FitnessSports.com . Race Day registrations online and in-person will be permitted until 9:15AM. Packet Pickup will be on 11/6 from 1pm-5pm at Fitness Sports in North Liberty (555 Hwy 965 Unit B). Race Day Pickup will be from 8:30am-9:30am at Colony Acres. ** SHIRTS ARE NOT GUARANTEED IF REGISTERING AFTER 10/25! **
