Their mission is "to give joy, hope, and the healing power of the outdoors to children with cancer and their families at medically supervised pediatric oncology camps." KOA is a proud partner of Care Camps and activities like the Monster Dash 5k enable us to give back! Proceeds from this race will go to Care Camps! RACE DETAILS: Monster Dash 5k Run/Walk on Saturday, October 31st at Otahki Lake KOA Start Time: 9 am for both runners and walkers, Registration/Bib pick up begins at 8 am at the Lodge ALL AGES WELCOME! Swag: 2026 Monster Dash 5k t-shirt guaranteed for the first 35 participants, participation medal, snacks/water, Top 3 finishers receive a trophy! This race is a 3.5 mile trail run through the park with moderate inclines. Running surface is packed gravel and mixed media terrain.
