Monster Dash Fun Run 2026 — Patterson, MO

Ghouls and Goblins, lace up your sneakers for a Halloween Fun Run at Otahki Lake KOA! This time, after dark! Join us to support a great cause, Care Camps Foundation! Their mission is "to give joy, hope, and the healing power of the outdoors to children with cancer and their families at medically supervised pediatric oncology camps." KOA is a proud partner of Care Camps and activities like the Monster Dash Fun Run enable us to give back! Proceeds from this race will go to Care Camps! RACE DETAILS: **NEW THIS YEAR** Monster Dash Fun Run/Walk on Saturday night, October 24th at Otahki Lake KOA. Start Time: 7 pm for both runners and walkers, Registration/Bib pick up begins at 5:30 pm at the Lodge/Camp Store. Parking: Please park in the gravel parking lot in front of the Lodge/Camp Store and near the shower house. No grass parking please! ALL AGES WELCOME, but please note this is a NIGHT run/walk! All runners are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes. Racer Requirements for 2026 night time run: *ALL participants must wear a headlamp or have a working flashlight *ALL participants are able to run/walk the allotted 2 mile course within 1 hour Swag: 2026 Monster Dash Fun Run t-shirt guaranteed for the first 35 participants, participation medal, snacks/water, Top 3 finishers receive a trophy! This race is a 2 mile run through the front of the park with minimal inclines. Running surface is packed gravel. There will be strobe lights and small path lights along many portions of the course. No jump scares, but there will be spooky decorations, sounds, and lights along the path at the lake!
