Thinking about stepping up to your first 70.3? Or looking for a structured, supportive group to train with this season? Join New Wave Triathlon Club for our 70.3 Training Camp, designed to prepare athletes for Ironman 70.3 North Carolina. This camp is built for all experience levels—whether you’re new to long course racing or looking to improve your performance. You do not need to be racing 70.3 North Carolina to participate, but all training will be structured with that race in mind. Coaching will be led by Yagen Gutierrez, with support from the New Wave coaching team as needed. All training will be delivered via Final Surge, with in-person group opportunities throughout the camp. Camp Timeline 20-week structured training plan begins: June 1, 2026 In-person group training begins: Week of July 13, 2026 Race Day: October 17, 2026 Weekly Group Training Sessions Wednesday 6PM : Speed Run (rotating locations) Friday 5PM : Open Water Swims at Suntree Rotary Park Saturday 7AM : Long Ride + B
