Oglebay 0.5k Beer Dash – Wheeling, WV 2026

Safety is #1! Join us at Oglebayfest weekend, Sunday October 5th for our 0.5k Beer Dash! And yes, you read that correctly. This is a zero-point-five-kilometer (0.5k) event, a fun run around Schenk Lake. Head out around the Schenk Lake 'course' and back; just try not to spill your beer, it's bad for the grass! Go whatever pace you like - no matter what there’s a beer waiting for you at the finish line! The winners will be determined by a combination of their time and by the amount left in their mug.
