RACE START TIME: 6:30 p.m. WHERE: DeWeese Park, 2600 DeWeese Parkway, Dayton, OH 45414. PARKING: Park in the large gravel parking lot at the entrance of Triangle Park at the corner of Ridge Ave. and DeWeese Parkway. COURSE: This is a beautiful flat 5k (3.1 mile) course on paved recreation paths that loops through 3 scenic Dayton parks (DeWeese Park, Triangle Park, and Island MetroPark) along the banks of the Stillwater and Great Miami Rivers. REGISTRATION: Registration is available to all through RunSignup prior to the race. Online registration remains open until approximately 15 minutes before race start and can be done in-person at the race. Hard copy registration sheets are also available on race day if needed. Minors may be registered on RunSignup by a parent or guardian or in-person with a parent or guardian present to sign the waiver. TRACK & CROSS COUNTRY TEAMS AND COACHES: Runners of all ages can preregister online using RunSignup (both ORRRC members and non-members). If you plan to bring a team of student athletes to this event without getting them preregistered online in advance, provide each student under age 18 with this Permission slip for groups of kids under 18 and have their parent or guardian sign it prior to race day. Coaches cannot sign this waiver for their athletes. Collect and bring the signed permission slips to the race day registration table. This will be extremely helpful to our registration volunteers, and we thank you in advance! CHECK-IN: All participants must check-in before the race and attach their assigned timing chip to one of their shoes. Look for the table with the green tablecloth to get your chip. We recommend you arrive at least one hour before the race to park, check in, and warm-up prior to the race start. FEES: All Current ORRRC Members Run for Free (Fee waived automatically when your RSU membership profile is used, or bring your card/proof of membership to the event) Non-Members: – $10 for ages 15 and up – Free for ages 14 and under Members, if you don't register through RunSignup, you absolutely MUST show proof of membership on race day to be eligible for the member fees! AWARDS: Top 3 overall male and female. Age group awards for first place male and female; 18 and under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+. Top 3 overall male and female Wolverines. ANIMAL POLICY: Due to our insurance coverage, animals are not permitted at any ORRRC event. The only exception is service dogs, which must be clearly identified. Persons with any other animals will be removed from the event (will not be issued a timing chip, and will not appear in results or photos). We thank you in advance for your cooperation!
