Pi Chi Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. 3rd Annual Sickle Cell Awareness Walk – Carson, CA 2026

Join us for a meaningful 5K walk in support of Sickle Cell awareness and education. Hosted by the Pi Chi Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and in partnership with the HEAS Foundation, a 501(c)3 corporation. This event aims to raise funds for scholarships, youth, and community programs. The Pi Chi Chapter has been dedicated to awarding book scholarships to deserving students at California State University, Dominguez Hills. This 5K walk is a continuation of that commitment, with every step we take contributing to these vital programs on our campus. In addition to supporting a worthy cause, participants will have the opportunity to learn more about Sickle Cell disease, its impact, and the importance of awareness. Our very own past president, Stephanie Ekejiuba, will also deliver a speech, inspiring us to make a difference in our community knowing first-hand how this disease can impact you.
