The earnings from this event will help support them this year and for next year's competition. The Plains School District is not funding the National Event for our Junior High Skills USA participants. They competed at the State level and earned a spot at the National Competition. Wendy and Joel Collett are organizing and taking the qualifying Skills USA JH Group to Atlanta so they can compete with the rest of the country. This is a great experience for our local kids and we need to be proud of the professional and intelligent group of students who will be representing our State and Town.
