Join us for the 2025 PRTC Rice Run! The Rice Run is an annual 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run hosted by the Colleton County Rice Festival and Presented by Palmetto Rural Telephone Coop. 5K Run A scenic 3.1 mile race through a quaint, downtown neighborhood and Walterboro Wildlife Sanctuary. The course starts with a gradual incline, turns into a winding, paved nature trail followed by a few rolling hills, and ends with a flat decline. Course Certification Code SC22009BW Awards As always, there are CASH PRIZES for our top placers! 1st Place 5K Overall Male & Female: $150 each 2nd Place 5K Overall Male & Female: $75 each 3rd Place 5K Overall Male & Female: $50 each 1st Place Only 5K Masters Male & Female: $50 each ...and top 3 age group awards for each decade from 12U-70+ 1 Mile Fun Run For all ages, runners and walkers — the Fun Run is just that — for FUN!
