At the close of the Battle of Cowpens in 1781, two American officers—confident in victory—raced for the ultimate prize, a British three-pounder cannon, called the “Grasshopper”. Bib numbers and shirts can be picked up morning of the race or Friday Jan 10th from 5-7pm at Gotta Run Spartanburg. Race will start at 8:30am on January 9th No Race Day Sign Up We will not be able to offer refunds or Deferrals- Weather can be an issue in January some years we have to reschedule for safety. Early packet pick up- Friday January 8th 5pm-7pm at Gotta Run Spartanburg Race day packet pick up- Saturday Jan 9th 7:00am- 8:15am at Cowpens Battlefield Office parking lot Course Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7dpNfwvAIM The course is a single loop course on the paved road at Cowpens Battlefield.
