This isn’t a traditional fun run—and it definitely isn’t a traditional Halloween party. On Saturday night, October 31, Restless Soles brings running and live DJ music together for an entirely different kind of night out at CrossFit Sweat Shop in Walnut Creek. Four runs will start at the top of four consecutive hours. At each start, choose between a 1-mile loop or a 1.5-mile loop, then return to the Sweat Shop to hang out, recover, and enjoy live music before the next round begins. Complete all four rounds for a total of four to six miles—or participate in as many rounds as you’d like. We encourage everyone to experience the full night, but the format is intentionally flexible. Between runs, a live DJ will keep the music going throughout the evening. Run, return, catch your breath, spend time with the crowd, and get ready to lace up again at the top of the next hour. Inspired by the color, energy, and imagery of Día de los Muertos, Restless Soles is designed to feel more like a nighttime music event than a conventional race. All Paces Are Welcome You do not need to be fast, competitive, or part of a run club to participate.
