Join us for the 3rd Annual Riverpark 5K Summer Series ! This is a run/walk event with the entire course located on a bike path and sidewalk within the neighborhood. The starting and ending point is located at Windrow Park. Each race is limited to first 150 registrants! Choose to participate with us for 1, 2, 3, or all 4 weeks! Plus, there is a discount for registering for all 4 races (full series)! 100% of the proceeds go toward Rio Mesa Cross Country and Track teams. Dates : The 2026 series will span 4 weeks beginning with a special 4th of July 5K Race and continuing each following Thursday: Week 1: 7/4/26 (9 am start) Week 2: 7/9/26 (6 pm start) Week 3: 7/16/26 (6 pm start) Week 4: 7/23/26 (6 pm start) Each week will also have a Free Kids 1K Race (ages 7 and under) 15 minutes before the official 5K race (8:45 am on July 4th and 5:45 pm July 9th, 16th, and 23rd). Awards : 5K: As this is a series, awards will be given to the top 3 in each age category at the conclusion of Week 4 (7/23)
