In partnership, The YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region and the Colorado Springs Sports Corp want to bring you the Rocky Mountain 5K presented by School District 11, the official 5K of the Rocky Mountain State Games! The Rocky Mountain 5K will be giving back to families through the YMCA’s life changing programs and supporting CSSC’s Rocky Mountain State Games initiatives to provide sport opportunities for athletes of all ages and athletic abilities. LOCATION: This is an out and back mostly flat 5K run/walk that will start at America the Beautiful Park and then heads north on the Pikes Peak Greenway trail for 1.55 miles until the turn-around. Each participant will receive a swag item! The top three male and female competitors in each division will bring home the gold, silver, or bronze medals. Award Ceremony will be held near the DJ in Vendor Village with top 3 overall starting at 10:00 a.m. and then Division winners starting shortly after.
