A Community Health & Wellness Experience at Crystal Mountain Six miles. One mountain. A team of specialists dedicated to helping you understand your body better. Ruck the Mountain isn't a race. It’s a health and wellness gathering. Alongside the 6-mile ruck around Crystal Mountain in northern Michigan, we're bringing together physicians, physical therapists, exercise physiologists, and recovery specialists under one roof to give the community something rare: direct, unhurried access to preventative health expertise. Whether you're curious about what's going on inside your body, want to benchmark your performance, or just need some dedicated recovery time, there's something here for you. Schedule for Ruck Participants Friday, October 23 5pm: Registration, packet pick up, and social gathering including outdoor yoga and a campfire. Also included is the opportunity to visit with medical professionals in areas related to medical, performance, physical therapy, and recovery. (See complete details below!) Saturday, October 24 8am - 10am: Late registration, additional packet pickup, and visit in vendor village. The medical professional areas from Friday evening will be consolidated into one tent for the morning. 10am: Group stretch 10am: Six-mile ruck hike on mountain trails (not timed; go at your own pace!) 11am - 2pm: When you return your participant lunch is included. (Additional food available for purchase for guests.) 12pm - 3pm: Run the Mountain (optional!) Run the Mountain is your chance for a fun run straight on up to the top of one of Crystal Mountain's ski runs on Saturday, October 24 anytime between 12pm - 3pm! There is no cost, however any of the benefits listed above for the Ruck event including the Friday night medical professional consultation tents and social event, and Saturday morning 6-mile ruck, lunch, and any giveaways are only included with a paid Ruck registration. This free "Run the Mountain" event does not provide any of those benefits. You must register for the Ruck event if you would like to participate in those opportunities as well.
