Running Towards Brighter Days! Join us for our 15th Annual Run 4 Brighter Days as we raise awareness, education, and advocacy for Brain Health, and Teenage Suicide Prevention. Whether you run, walk, volunteer, or give support from the sidelines, your participation supports a cause striving to touch the lives of at risk teens. Want to show support from afar? You can participate in our virtual 5K. September is National Suicide Prevention Month Join us on September 12, 2026 to show your support in saving the lives of teens. Race Details: Date: September 12, 2026 Start Time: Kids Fun Run 8:00 AM Start Time: 5K 8:30 AM Location: Lynches River County Park Address: 5094 County Park Rd, Coward, SC 29530 Proceeds: The Jonathan C. Smith Foundation Registration: 5K $35 Day Of Registration: 5k - $40 5K for Kids 12 and under: FREE Kids Fun Run: 10 and under: FREE Virtual Race: 5K/Walk - $40 - Entry will receive T-shirt and participation medal in the mail after the race ( Must register by 9/1 ) Our race is a part of the Pee Dee Grand Prix Tee Shirt Pick-Up & Registration: Kids Fun Run: 7:00 AM – 7:45 AM Tee Shirt Pickup & Registration: 5k 7:00 AM - 8:15 AM Awards: Ceremony will be after all participants have finished Entertainment: Joyful Entertainment, Environmental Discovery Center with interactive fun, live exhibits, and a tree top canopy walk. All Kids get Free t-shirt and Medal! (10 & Under) Event special notes: Strollers are welcome. People can listen to music while running. All pets must be kept on a leash and friendly. Refund Policy: In the event that a participant is not able to attend, we thank you for your donation. There are no refunds. The race will occur rain or shine, In the event that a weather event makes the race unsafe, it will be rescheduled.
