Run 4 Kidtopia 5K/10K (formerly Dan Robinson Memorial Run) – Grant, AL 2026

Year 7 with new and exciting changes! This annual event hosted by Kidtopia Playground Association, takes place at Grant Town Park located at 401 Park Rd, Grant AL 35747. This event began in memory of the late Dan Robinson whose love for God and country was known by many throughout our community. Dan was instrumental in the formation of our non-profit organization and laid the groundwork for the development of Kidtopia playground. 1st : This year we have updated our name so everyone knows exactly why we host this event, to benefit the playground! For 19 years this playground has served the families of Grant and surrounding areas with a wonderful place to gather and play. We want that to continue for the next 50 years, and we can't do that without wonderful sponsors and community! 2nd : You asked and we listened, this year we will run the 10K race first and the 5K race after that, for our dedicated runners who want to do 15K! 3rd: In 2025, our community lost 7 year old Gracie Morris sudd
