The Run4WoodsCreek race is a 4-mile run along the Woods Creek Trail in Lexington, Virginia. The race is organized by the Friends of Woods Creek (FoWC), a volunteer organization that is part of Rockbridge Conservation. The FoWC's mission is to protect, enhance, and promote Woods Creek and the associated Trail. The group works to remove invasive plants, monitor water stream quality, and plant native trees. Runners and walkers are encouraged to participate! The racecourse follows the Woods Creek Trail. Beginning and ending at the creek bridge near Waddell Elementary and turning around at the Historic Miller House Museum in Jordan's Point Park in Lexington Virginia, you will run past Waddell Elementary playground, past Lime Kiln playground, cross the bridge near old Beam Me Up BBQ, run through a cool tunnel and get a taste of Washington & Lee before getting VMI's scenic view overlooking practice fields and barracks before descending to the Historic Miller House and then returning by ascend
