Run For Rangers Savannah 2026 — Tybee Island, GA

5 K – Saturday , November 21, 2026 8:00 a.m. Starts from Historic Fort Screven on Meddin Drive across from the Tybee Lighthouse. Runs past Officers row, Jaycee Park, historic Fort Screven housing and back to North Beach finish line. A Very Flat and Fast course. This is a chip timed event with several age/gender categories, and awards will be made for 1st to 3rd places, in each category. All participants will receive a custom Tybee/Ranger finisher medal. Parking is available at the North Beach lot for this event and we encourage participants to buy a parking pass with race registration. Parking Pass is good till noon and will be handed out at packet pickup. NOTE: Do Not Park at the Lighthouse. They have their own parking lot and they open at 9am. This event runs on most of Tybee Island, GA providing unmatched scenic route with coastal breezes and salt air. Starting in front of Fort Screven on Meddin Drive directly across from the Lighthouse. They don't get much flatter than this course and very scenic encompassing views of Historic Fort Screven, The Tybee Lighthouse, Jaycee Park, Officers row, The Pier, South Beach, The Back River, several areas of Salt marsh with crossing Tidal creeks and going through Memorial Park. November weather is great to run a Half Marathon on Tybee. Come early and spend the weekend! A Chip timed event with a finisher medal and Technical T-shirt. Parking is available at the North Beach lot for this event and we encourage participants to buy a parking pass with race registration. We do recommend staying after the race to see the lighthouse and museum if you've still got 178 steps left in the legs for the climb. Half Marathon Ranger Challenge Relay- 2 Person Teams (ONLY for ARMY RANGERS) Active duty or retired Army Rangers compete as teams against other two person teams as a Half Marathon relay with the exchange point at approximately half way in the half. *Pre-registration strongly requested for planning purposes. Walk-up registrants will not be guaranteed a T-shirt for the event. Half Marathon Ranger Challenge (ONLY FOR ARMY RANGERS) This division is only for Army Ranger competition one on one against other Rangers in the half marathon.
