Run for the River – Asbury, NJ 2026

4-Mile Run for the River Sunday, May 3, 2026 at 10:00 am (Walkers begin at 9:45 a.m.) Start/Finish: Franklin Township Fire Department Station 3 Parking at 410 Old Main Street, Asbury, NJ 08802 Participants will have the option to run or walk this course, which is a scenic loop that passes streams, pastures, historic buildings, and the beautiful Musconetcong River on a mostly flat course. Medals will be presented to the first 3 male and first 3 female runners in the following age categories: 14 & under, 15-20, 21-25, 26-30, 31-35, 36-40, 41-45, 46-50, 51-55, 56-60, 61-65, 65+, as well as best overall. The Run for the River is an annual fundraiser for the Musconetcong Watershed Association (MWA). MWA is a non-profit organization formed by residents of the Musconetcong Valley in 1992.
